About the Artist 

Stephen Snoddy is both an artist and internationally renowned curator and gallery director who is currently Director at The New Gallery, Walsall.

​​Snoddy studied at Belfast College of Art, graduating with an MA in 1983. After being very prolific during his student years he then spent the next 20 years developing a distinguished career as the director of major galleries across Britain. In 2012 Snoddy began painting again, his work is abstract , referring to the visible world., architecture  and geometric structures. 

​His work is in the following collections: Art Care, NI; Craig Gardner & Co. Dublin; Department of the Environment, NI; Frank Cohen Collection; Hertfordshire Education Authority; Lisburn Borough Council; Southampton City Art Gallery; The Priseman – Seabrook Collection and Ulster Television, Belfast
