Stephen Snoddy Artist Bio 

Stephen Snoddy is both an artist and internationally renowned curator and gallery director who is currently Director at The New Gallery, Walsall.

Snoddy studied at Belfast College of Art, graduating with an MA in 1983. After being very prolific during his student years he then spent the next 20 years developing a distinguished career as the director of major galleries across Britain. In 2012 Snoddy began painting again, his work is abstract , referring to the visible world., architecture  and geometric structures. 

 

His work is in the following collections: Art Care, NI; Craig Gardner & Co. Dublin; Department of the Environment, NI; Frank Cohen Collection; Hertfordshire Education Authority; Lisburn Borough Council; Southampton City Art Gallery; The Priseman – Seabrook Collection and Ulster Television, Belfast
